Just a few minutes' walk away
Dog beach
Especially great for you and your four-legged friend: the Grüner Brink dog beach is just a short walk from Hus Seeblick. Here you and your dog can relax together, watch the kitesurfers or take a plunge into the cool water. Dogs can run free – there is no leash requirement on this beach. That's what a dog holiday should look like!

On tour with your dog
For dogs that love to walk, the area is perfect for leisurely strolls or bike rides.
On Fehmarn you can walk through the small villages, along the dike right by the coast or between the many meadows and rapeseed fields. A large network of hiking trails and field paths lets you explore and enjoy the surroundings of the sunny island.
Fit dogs will certainly also enjoy the many cycle paths on Fehmarn. The roughly 300 km of cycle paths are well signposted and offer both longer themed routes and short excursions.
Wherever you and your four-legged friend feel most at home, Fehmarn offers just the right variety for every dog walker.
Excursions and sights

The NABU waterfowl reserve Wallnau is home to over 270 bird species. Especially in summer there is a lot to see – not only for humans; your dog will find plenty to sniff too. The only requirement is that dogs stay on the leash.
What's more, dogs on Fehmarn are even allowed into some museums: your dog can accompany you on a leash into the Galileo Wissenswelt or the butterfly park. So even in bad weather you don't have to stay at home with your four-legged friend.
Or plan a day trip to Denmark with your dog – dogs on a leash are allowed in the passenger area on the ferry.
If something goes wrong during your holiday
With all the running and romping on the beach, your dog may get injured. Quick help is at hand: the nearest veterinary practice (Dübe-Remling) is only a few kilometres away.
If you don't want to neglect dog training during your holiday, Tierservice Fehmarn in Niendorf offers professional animal care for you and your four-legged friend.
And if you've forgotten your dog's favourite toy at home, you can get everything for your pet at Rathjen in Burg.
